Each Thursday, we turn The Critics Agree! over to our favorite critics of all: you, the fans! Here’s what you’re saying on Twitter about Edgar Wright’s new film The World’s End:
@GatihPrasetyo found The World’s End to be revealing and political: “OMG what the world’s about to end now so many same sex relationships.” We heard the Simon Pegg / Nick Frost love scene was pretty erotic, so a reaction like this comes as no surprise.
@AltWAZZU, meanwhile, calls it thought-provoking: “Why are there so many apocalypse movies???”
@tjt234 was challenged by the film: “The next time you feel like your world’s about to end, I hope you studied cause he’s testing your faith again.” Who’s this “he” you’re talking about? Martin Freeman?
@_caroline97_ chimed in with a complete non sequitur: “I still cry every time I watch Pirates of the Caribbean: At world’s End.” So do we! But what does that have to do with Simon Pegg?
@ItsArchie_ got downright poetic after his experience with The World’s End: “At the end of the day, the world’s a jungle, full of snakes, we just hoping we don’t get bit.” Chomp chomp, VuGu$t30th. Chomp chomp.
