The critics agree: The Lifeguard is more fun than a day at the beach!

The Dissolve’s Mike D’Angelo says the film is “shocking”ly good.

Variety‘s Peter Debruge calls The Lifeguard “fun to watch.”

Film.com’s Jordan Hoffman puts it bluntly: “It is, and there’s no point in mincing words now, aw”esome.

The Village Voice‘s Ernest Hardy raises the stakes, writing: “From concept to execution to tone, writer-director Liz W. Garcia’s The Lifeguard is a” classic.

Time Out New York’s Eric Hynes was affected by the film as well, describing it as “life-altering.”
