The Critics Agree has learned that acclaimed actor Shia LaBeouf has just inked a deal to direct his first feature-length film. The immediate and immense success of his short film HowardCantour.com surely expedited this deal. LaBeouf’s film will be produced by Unfocused Pictures.

LaBeouf had time for a brief interview with The Critics Agree, in which he described the film’s plot:

“Well the basis for the film is that huge advancements in scientific technology have enabled a rich dude to create an island full of living dinosaurs. James Kerry has invited four individuals, along with his two great-grandchildren, to join him at The Prehistoric Zone. But not everything will go to plan! Especially when one of the theme parks’ own workers attempts to steal the dinosaur embryos, and has to shut down critical security systems in the process. It’s now a race for survival with dangerous creatures roaming all over the island.”

The film sounds incredibly exciting! We’d like to thank LaBeouf for his time, and wish him the best of luck in making this sure-fire hit.
